Ways to get involved in Prison/Re-entry Ministry:


Lindsey State Jail, Jacksboro, TX

  • Facilitate a Christian Study:
    3 hours per week, Wednesdays, 7:30AM – 10:30AM
  • Lead a Bible study:
    3 hours per week, Fridays, 7:30AM – 10:30AM
  • Substitute teach one of the two sessions above:
    usually once every 6 weeks,

County Jail

  • Monday night Worship Service:
    Once a month, or as needed, 7AM - 9AM (Palo Pinto Co Jail).
  • Substitue teach or lead a study:
    As needed (times can very) (Parker Co Jail)

Welcome Back / West Central Texas (WBWCT)

WBWCT has set as its mission to assist ex-offenders as they return to society in their respective county (Erath, Hood, Palo Pinto, Parker, Stephens, and Wise). Our goal is to assist those returning from incarceration on parole to improve themselves, improve the surrounding community, and try and prevent the parolee from returning to prison.

  • Meet with new parolees, tell them that Christ loves them, where they can find a church family, other resources available to them.
    First and third Wednesday each month - 11AM till noon.
  • Substitute in sessions above:
    Usually, every other month, or as needed.
  • Call on Churches and Resources within the six counties, to be listed as a "resource".
